Pengaruh Kondisi Kerja dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Pekerja dalam Kepuasan Kerja serta Keterikatan Kerja di Suatu Perusahaan

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan yaitu kondisi kerja, peran mediasi dari kepuasan kerja, peran moderasi motivasi terhadap kepuasan dan kinerja karyawan serta pengaruh kondisi kerja terhadap keterikatan kerja. Responden penelitian ini adalah 94 orang karyawan baik negeri maupun swasta yang sudah bekerja minimal 1 tahun di wilayah Jakarta dan Bekasi. Kondisi kerja terkonfirmasi mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, namun pengaruhnya lebih besar kepada kepuasan kerja dan keterikatan kerja karyawan. Hal ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa penciptaan kondisi kerja yang baik sangat penting dalam mendorong kepuasan karyawan, keterikatan karyawan dan pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Disisi lain motivasi tidak terbukti memiliki peran moderasi pada kepuasan karyawan dan kinerja karyawan. Kondisi kerja yang meliputi suasana bekerja, kualitas tempat kerja lingkungan pekerjaan, perbaikan lingkungan kerja secara berkala memiliki efek yang kuat untuk mendorong kepuasan karyawan. Selanjutnya kepuasan karyawan langsung maupun tidak langsung akan meningkatkan keterikatan kerja dan menciptakan kinerja karyawan yang baik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan beberapa implikasi manajerial bagi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan performa karyawan dalam bekerja. Perusahaan harus
lebih menciptakan kepuasan karyawan dan kondisi kerja. Penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan aman, suasana kerja yang mendukung, peningkatan kualitas tempat kerja dengan melakukan secara berkala peningkatan lingkungan kerja akan mendorong terciptanya kepuasan kerja dan meningkatkan keterikatan kerja karyawan. Hal tersebut akan dengan sendirinya meningkatkan kinerja atau performa karyawan.
